ATTORNEY REGISTRATION:

New attorney and/or an attorney that is new to filing in Lake County you must first register with our office prior to filing.  

ATTORNEY AND/OR FIRM UPDATES AND CHANGES:
The Lake County Circuit Clerk's Office must be notified of any changes:
          - Firm or attorney name change
          - Firm or attorney contact information 
          - Attorney association (add/remove from firm) 


FIRM REGISTRATION:
A new firm or a firm that is new to Lake County you must register with our office. 

CASE ACCESS REQUEST:
If you are already registered for our Online Portal, you can request case access. 

FIRM ADMIN REGISTRATION FOR THE ONLINE PORTAL:
If you are a firm that is not registered for the Online Portal, you will register as a Firm Admin Portal Account. Once a firm admin account is registered, you will be able to add/remove attorney accounts from your portal.

Please note submitting a registration form to the Circuit Clerk is for the purposes of updating information in the Lake County Circuit Clerk’s record management system. 

To register for e-Filing, you will need to select and register with a State Certified e-Filing Service Provider (EFSP).  Information on the available EFSP’s can be found at http://efile.illinoiscourts.gov/service-providers.htm. Any updates to your e-Filing account should be made through your EFSP.
