Orders of Protection are a civil court order that protects victims of domestic abuse and other incidents.
Please take note of the following before proceeding:
- This is intended for attorney use only; self-represented litigants must go to D-100 for assistance with filling out the necessary forms.
- The Order of Protection paperwork must be completed electronically through the Online Order of Protection (OOP) System at the Illinois Protection/Protective Order System website.
Important: Please make sure that your petition is filled out completely and without errors prior to exiting from the program.

eFile Information for Subsequent Order of Protection Filings
All subsequent filings for Order of Protection cases must be filed electronically using a certified Electronic Filing Service Provider (EFSP).
