Online Portal Information

 The Lake County Circuit Clerk's Online Portal allows users to access the following:

  • Access basic case information
  • Download court documents
  • Pay fines and fees online
  • Submit proposed orders to the court

To ensure attorneys have proper access to their cases in the Online Portal, they must complete their registration with our office. Please visit our Attorney & Firm Registration page to register with our Case Management System Court Directory. Failure to register with our office will result in attorneys not having proper access to their cases. The ARDC and email address used for the Online Portal must match our CMS Court Directory information.  

How to Register for the Portal

Attorney or Public User Account:

  2. Click on the +Register buttonOnline Portal Registration


Firm Administrator Account Registration

To register a Firm Administrator Account for the Online Portal, please submit a Firm Admin Account Online Portal Registration Ticket

Case Access Requests

Please use this Case Access Request Online Portal Ticket if: 

  • You are a Firm Admin using your own portal account account
  • You are a Firm Admin using the Firm Admin account (not an account registered to a specific attorney)
  • You are the Party of Record (Public User), please visit the 

Case Access RequestPlease submit a request once. A member of our team must review eligibility. This may take 1-2 business days.


Attorney Case Access Requests

If you are an attorney, you may get instant case access.  This includes firm admins using attorney accounts. Please note, the ARDC and email associated with the Online Portal account must match the ARDC and email in our CMS Court Directory.

How to View Documents

Once your Case Access Request has been granted, you will need to click on "My Cases."

  1. Click on your Name.
  2. Click on "My Cases."
  3. Then, click "View Case."
