Certification for Exemption From E-Filing Includes an automatic exemption. The State of Illinois will automatically exempt individuals from electronically filing documents for some reasons.
Court dates cannot be set online at this time. You will need to contact the Circuit Clerk's Office to schedule your court date prior to prior to electronically filing any Notice or Summons.
For information regarding your e-Filing account or for technical assistance please contact your Electronic Filing Service Provider (EFSP) . The Lake County Circuit Clerk's Office does not manage or support the EFSPs, and does not have access to your account information.
